RECIPE

Christmas is coming and there is nothing more joyful than cooking something from scratch.
You create memories, feel proud of yourself and are able to feed yourself and your loved ones with love

I wouldn’t ever want a Christmas without the tantalising smell of roasted chestnuts.
Christmas without chestnuts would be unthinkable in this house.

The isolation that accompanies being in lockdown for so long has taken its own special toll. Be kind to one another this festive season, and cook for people. I know it helps, even if you don’t start out wanting to do it, I promise.
This Chestnut Soup is ideal to share.

INGREDIENTS

20 roasted chestnuts
1/2 Cream cheese
Olive oil to cook
1 Lt. Milk
1/4 cup Chopped onion
2 Cloves of garlic
1 tbsp Salt
-30

COOK TIME

RECIPE PREPARATION

A humble yet splendid dish. A deep, rich, thick soup for a cold winter’s day.

1. In a food processor add the chestnuts, onion and garlic.
2. Heat up a, previously oiled pot and add the mix.
3. Cook until fragrant. Add the cream cheese and whisk with the chestnut mix, once everything is blended together.
Add the milk whisking to avoid lumps
