KIND OF FOOD:

Cacao powder is packed with flavonoids. These nutrients have been shown to help lower blood pressure, improve blood flow to the brain and heart, and aid in preventing blood clots.

Zucchini is a highly alkaline food that is one of the mildest and easiest vegetables to digest. Zucchini is a great source of vitamin A, C, & B-complex as well as minerals such as iron, zinc, potassium, and manganese. It is high in fibre and low in calories which makes it a great weight loss food and helps to reduce constipation and bloating.

Oats are healthful and gluten-free. They provide fibre, complex carbohydrates, protein, and other essential nutrients.

Bananas are packed with vitamins such as vitamins C and B6 and minerals such as potassium, copper, and manganese. This high water/nutrient ratio makes them a great electrolyte food perfect for busy moms, workout enthusiasts, and people on the go. Bananas are also an excellent “brain food” great for heavy thinkers and are known to help build strong muscles as well as strengthen the nervous system.

INGREDIENTS

1 egg
1 cup Gluten Free Oats
1 Banana
1 tbsp Cacao
1/2 Zucchini
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
1/2- 1 cup Almond Drink
1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
1 tsp Cinnamon Powder

RECIPE PREPARATION

I love pancakes and their little freckled surfaces give me joy.

In a blender add all the ingredients.

Heat a pan and remember that the first pancake seasons the pan, leaving a light film of fat on which those that follow will slide. Eat it while you make the rest of the batch.

NOTES:

  1. If you want to go the extra mile. Grate the zucchini and with a towel squeeze out all the water.
  2. The amount of liquid depends on how thick the batter comes out. Keep on adding until you reach the desired consistency.
